About This Event:

The performers of DreamStreet Theatre Company, a cast of 30 adults living with developmental disabilities, take the stage again in the BRIC Ballroom Theatre to share their adaptation of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic, A Christmas Carol - but with a Brooklyn spin.

A modern twist on the classic story filled with enchanting performances, music, and a heavy dose of Brooklyn charm. Please join us for a magical evening!

DreamStreet Theatre Company's cast of artists with developmental disabilities returns to the stage this Holiday Season at Gowanus's charming performing arts space: Littlefield, Brooklyn. The showcase, "THIS IS HOW WE DO IT," is designed by the cast and explores their ties to growing up in the 90s, its music, fashion, film, and arts scene, and their desire to inspire audiences and diversify the NYC performing arts community.

Inspired by the true events that occurred behind the scenes of Singin’ in the Rain (as told by Debbie Reynolds and crew), Find Your Voice highlights the people behind the camera who often work the hardest but rarely get the glory. This rich cast of characters gives us an inside look at the journey of an overlooked and forgotten talent, and what it took for them to find their voice.
